Forget Your Birthday.

If you want a big life-changing thing to do, here it is; forget your birthday. Yes, that's right, just forget your birthday! For some reason we celerbrate the day we popped into this world. We do this every year and at first it is usually fun. If we are lucky we get presents and cards... not everyone, it's easy to generalise here. But the day of our birth is celerbrated and we start to identify ourselves with it.
I'm Roger Warner. I'm 8 and a 1/2. Then I'm Roger Warner. I'm 9 years old.
Then a teenager... in my 20's... 30's and... suddenly it is not so much fun.
Instead of looking forward to it we see how fast it goes and if we are not really careful we start looking back!

We start believing our age and, even worse, we start acting it! We wear beige. We start believing it.

How many times have you heard someone say... I would love to do this or that but I'm a bit old now. Bollocks! If you think you are, you are. The reverse is the same. True, if you start learning the trombone at eighty you probably won't have as many years to annoy the neighbours but you can still have lots of fun.

As of writting this the oldest person alive is 114, that's 34 years in which to really piss off your neighbours with your trombone expertise.

So, scrap your bithday, be as old as you want and do all those things you want to do. Buy a skate board. Ride a Harley. Have fun. You're only as old as you think you are!

Have a Look

Last time I started a little ramble about Fear. Since then I have found this web site. http://www.theflucase.com/

This seems something to worry about. The trouble is, where do you get really reliable info from - we all have our axes to grind, our biases.

This site holds a great deal of important data and much the same info has come to me from other sources, but the web, albeit a good source of information, is also a good source of dis-information.

Let's have a look at what I know :
The "powers that be" will do whatever to achieve their goals. Don't believe me, just look at your history.
If enough people go on the streets they still do it ...
The "free" press is only free in some matters.

Questions:
Where do our values come from? From those same powers? Really think about this - our basic rights?
How programmed are we? Deep, deep, programming. Nature or is it taught? After all, we learn to see.

Fear is a means of control and is used throughout our society.
What we can do is not give way to it .
If we can free ourselves from fear we can start to see the control and make rational decissions.

If we need to do something (and I think maybe now is the time) we need to do it without fear.

I need help with this. We all do, but first and formost we need to realise the nature of the world we live in . Our natures. Let's start now and look forward without fear.
