There is no such thing as Reiki,

It is only when we allow ourselves to see that there is no such thing as Reiki that we can start to benifit from it.
This seems a strange thing to say coming from a person who spends his life teaching and using Reiki. The above statement is of course untrue, we can benifit from reiki even before we understand that there is no such thing .
Now you might justifiably think that I am losing my marbles, (but this is not the case, I know where my marbles are - they are in the same place as my yoyo) or just playing with words and this is of course true, but words created the confusion in the first place.

As soon as we start using the word Reiki we start to think of it as something, a power, an energy, something seperate from us that it is there for us to use, to channel, to be powerful with. Reiki is a word, nothing more, nothing less. It is a Japanese word that can mean Universal Life Energy. I have also heard that Reiki can connect us to this universal energy. More words that confuse and deflect us into the trap of duality.

We are a part of this universe, not apart from it... another glib saying, but this time nearer the truth. We don't have to be connected to it, we are it! All we need to do is recognise it by moving the blinkers that bind us. Yes, that was meant to be bind.

Whatever system we use should be towards that aim. If it builds up our ego in order to promote a feeling of them and me it is not helpful. If it allows us to increase our awarness maybe it is a little more useful. Remember even our ego has a place in the universe... be aware of it.

Talking about Reiki is fun and anyone who knows me, knows how much I do of it ... but in the long run it is pointless because words only help limit.

Reiki... Just do it.
